August 22, 1999 - It was only a matter of time before we get some CAZAI (Cat's Eye) up in here, and here it is, from Tournament ZION '99. Clipped as usual, but at the beginning we see clips of the debut of my channel's current wallpaper cover girls - CAZAI (AI Fujita, AKINO, Candy Okutsu & Ayako Hamada). The Cazai Quartet take on Chaparrita ASARI and her buddies from Mexico - Linda Starr, Princess Sugey, and Mari Apache.

  • well im no pro-wrestling genious, but its obvious that the japanese style of pro-wrestling is more about technical ability and acrobatics. The american style(WWE) is more about drama and a cheesy ass story. i stopped watching WWE 10 years ago, because of how stale it was getting. i dont know much about japanese pro-wrestling, but from this video is seems quite intense. i just find it odd how japanese audiences hardly make any noise at pro-wrestling or any events.

  • @TheDannyboy55 - A lot of people are at first wondering why the crowd's so quiet, but just know it's because they're REALLY paying attention - that's how it is in Japanese wrestling. Of course, they can make some noise just like we do, but these crowds really focus on the action. There's a difference between paying attention and being bored and as you watch more of this stuff you'll notice that too.

  • Not sure if they were in the same time frame, but did CAZAI ever fight the Kiss of the World team?

  • well i guess im lucky the world of wrestling DOESNT revolve around what you think. kandori and ESPECIALY hokuto are the shit but minami toyota, lioness asuka and megumi kudo just to name a few ARE wrestling in my opinion. you want mat based stuff? watch the olympics. this aint the place for a just mat based stuff. this is WRESTLING and you have to be VERSATILE to win the crowd guy. why? why do you make me angry with your narow minded thinking? is it caus im mexican and LOVE lucha libre? Hmph!

  • @roachstr0099

    No problem.

I prefer matches like Kandori vs Hokuto with "psichological fight".

Mat-based stuff is better , but I appreciate the high-flyers style too. Momoe Nakanishi is one of my fav , for example.

But this match is too much flip-floppy mexican for me.

  • im sorry for the insult. i retract my statement. thank you.

  • WHAT? man THAT IS WRESTLING! this isnt ancient greece! this isnt the F,n olympics! this is a spectator sport with EXTREME ATHLETICISM and SKILL! yeah, the mat-based stuff is ok. i respect it but its a different form of wrestling in this case. relevant but not a great deal. there not gonna get on the ground and wrestle for 3 minutes straight unless theres an advantage in choking. yes, mat based IS vital but not always necessary.......i rest my case?

Please , send me the bill for the legal costs as soon as possible , haha

  • Poultrykid isn't a fool, some folks don't like the really flip-floppy lucha style, they prefer the mat-based stuff. Nothing wrong with that.

  • @poultrykid your a fool. you want it to turn into piece of shit WWE? man we havnt seen psychology and story drama since fucking WWF!! if i was here id be cheering my ass off. such hard work and no bullshit action is what TRUE wrestling's about. entertainment and skill!
