  • Basic Materials used to make both straight and corner forms are as follows:

    * 3/4 plywood sheet (good stuff) -- 7 (should have used the cheap stuff and more braces).

    * 8-foot 2x8 -- 14 (horizontal braces)

    * 5-foot 3/4 inch pipe clamps -- 14 (Harbor Freight Special I provided pipe)

    * 8-foot 2x4 -- 2 (keyway for dove tailing joints between wall sections)

    * Some Paint (did I really have to paint'm?)

    * Some day I will create one video to sum up all I have done on this little building

  • Your doing a great job. I am trying to decide how I want to do my house. Cob, haybale, Rammed Earth, Adobe Style Masonry.

    I am a little concerned about the cost of forms for the Rammed earth. What was the cost for the forms? I love the rammed earth look better than any of them.
