To be fair this is an entirely solid musical interpretation of the music. Anyone with any concept of musicality in Salsa would understand that. I can only think that critics come from schools of 'spin or die' or similar where we must all pattern monkey our way through Salsa dances or be rubbish. Excellent dance I say. It takes a real dancer to do his own thing.
