Pride & Prejudice - Paradox

Well, here it is, my entry for the Paradox Challenge for So You Think You Can Vid. Never in a million years did I think I'd be vidding for this challenge. Top 6... Holy cow.

The basic idea was to change the genre of a fandom without making it a complete AU story. So I took Pride and Prejudice (a romance) and twisted some things around to make it look a bit more like thriller. This is probably one of the hardest things I've had to do (vidding wise) in a very long time. A lot of hemming and hawing. A lot of deleting. And a lot of hair pulling. But in the end, I think it turned out alright. Good enough to make it through? Well... I have no idea about that. I'm up against some pretty amazing talent.

:O! Still got to check out the other entries, but this one was fab!!!! Lovely idea, especially the: "You don't know what he's like" is brilliant and the way you edited the horseridingscene and the Bingley/Darcy visitscene (hope this makes sense :p). was very refreshing and flowed well with your storytelling. Lovely music to go with it too :). I am already a fan of the original movie, but this surely was a great twist!
