**this was THE FIRST DAY the turbo was installed on the TA. had several exhaust leaks (which with a rear mount turbo means boost leaks), was running on 3lbs boost, and was untuned.***

cammed 5.0 w/ 3.73's and all the boltons

lt1 trans am w/ sts turbo, 3psi untuned

    lol this was like 4-5yrs ago. he didnt know any better at the time. i told him to just get an ls1

  • oh just one more thing the STS kit goes where the driver side rear exhaust would normally be and hangs 3in lower clearly visible on any F-body as the video shows it still has the factory exhaust tip in place with no sign of the STS kit just sayin...

    factory exhaust TIP (singular)? oh thats right, i forgot lt1 trans ams come stock with single exhaust. lmfao fucking retard. i have pics of the car with the turbo installed, and other videos as well. once again, what reason do i have to lie? neither of these slow piles are even my cars!! go play in traffic or somethin u dipshit

  • P.S.: I'm a Chevy lover and own a 97 T/A, but I do have respect for good built 5L Mustangs. Love the fox body style :) Also, automatic cars don't necessarily need a blowoff valve, there's no closing of the throttle between shifts...

  • Sorry if im wrong, i just couldnt hear a spool. With rear mounts, the spool of the turbo is usually louder than the engine/exhaust.

  • @mxracer578 With the right supporting mods the LT1 can handle a lot of power. dont underestimate that motor.

  • for those ls series and others who doubt lt engines see the worlds fastest lt1 and see super chevy 500 hp or the 396 set up yr full of it just because they only made em 5 years doesnt mean their junk reverse cooling still rules if you do it right ya can run 12 .1 compress on pump gas hahahaha try that with a ls1 itll virbate aprt from detonation also the heads ya can gouge em to 275 cfm and look out with fresh air and exausht itll pop yr ls1s cherry or even yr friggon z06 and nitrous ya got 9s

  • people cutting lt1s down are morons and need to get educated ive seen em run a bolt on only matchup and they hit high 11s 12 easily nothing to bitch and cry about the head flow as good as any heads for all out sure maybea ls series or the lt1 396 but for street id rather have the lt1 low end torgue and cheaper to repair by the way mine has 145k and still runs 13s and gets 25 to 27 on the highway
