First Release Info:

Artist: Nookie
Release Name: Return Of Nookie
Label: Reinforced Records
Catalogue Number: RIVET 1239
Year: 1993
BPM: 152
Notes: This tune is also known as "The Sound Of Music".
"Nookie" and "Cloud 9" are the same person (Gavin Cheung), in fact, the original version of this tune was released under the alias Cloud 9 and this remix was done under the alias Nookie. Therefore a more accurate name for this tune should actually be "Cloud 9 - Gonna Be Alright (Nookie Remix)".

  • Anyone else have conflicting feelings when listening to all these brilliant old skool tracks? The sheer and deep love you have coupled with the sadness that these days are long gone..... melancholy love, you lovely people

  • All the tunes on this EP according to how I have named them are the way they are named on the album. Furthermore, this tune is an obvious remix of Cloud 9 - Gonna Be Alright, if you ever hear this original version, you will see how wrong your assumptions are.

  • A Nookie effing classic. This one has everything.

You cant help but love Nookie's added four to the floor behind the Amen beats.

  • @AreULookingAtMe I couldn't agree with you more, I think about the "happy daze" all the time and long for its return but secretly know, even if it did return, it'd truly never be the same.... a once in a life time moment my friend.. they can take away our freedom but never our memories. hardcore will never die!
