@gardogg65 lol don't feel bad I just got my first playboat this week and decided before I take it out and go wild I should probablly learn how to roll.....spent 3 hours half drowning and wet exiting trying to remember the crappy instructional video I had watched on kayak rolling before I gave up and went home to try to youtube some better videos

Being small doesn't necessarily make this harder. By sitting low in the boat, he reduces the amount of his body that creates moment. What you'll often see is kids find it easy to roll, then they'll have a growth spurt and have to re-learn the motion, but well done to the lad. It's the same way kneeling in a C kayak makes rolling harder.
