The Vix ERG Group (ERG) is a world leader in the design, supply and operation of integrated Automated Fare Collection systems for the transit industry. ERG provides solutions for all modes of transport and all types of fare media.
ERG is an Australian-based company, operating globally to deliver systems ranging from large multi-operator, multi-modal solutions to small, single operator solutions. Since 1988 ERG has delivered systems that process over 24 million transactions per day across a card base of more than 32 million smartcards.
ERG is proud to have designed and delivered several of the worlds largest multi-modal smartcard systems in major global cities such as the original system of Hong Kong, Singapore, Rome, San Francisco and more recently Beijing a system designed to process 40 million transactions per day across 28 rail operators. We have also installed smaller systems in major cities including Melbourne, Oslo, Salt Lake City, Sydney, Auckland, Las Vegas, Beijing, Aberdeen, Gothenburg and Mumbai. Installations currently in progress include Seattle, Stockholm, London and New Delhi.
In addition, ERG has significant market share for the provision of bus ticketing systems in France and the United Kingdom, as well as a number of installations in Australia and South East Asia.
