@111jasy111 A 17,000 word memo in 1910?.....Here's 8 words in 2011 "British soverign territory.End of Story Full stop".............to quote our PM.

In 1910, a 17,000-word memo was commissioned by the British Foreign Office to look at the historical dispute over sovereignty. The study highlighted many weaknesses in the British case. The head of the Foreign Office's American department, Gerald Spicer, wrote: "From a perusal of this memo it is difficult to avoid the conclusion that the Argentine government's attitude is not altogether unjustified and that our action has been somewhat high-handed."

@brendancoul You sent your own sailors in to a war in the Belgrano.... a World War Two RELIC....You then left 323 Young sailors to drown and freeze to death into the night. You left 323 sailors to die,it was the ultimate betrayal and neglect of your own sailors.....Argentina has the blood of 323 young sailors....ALL its own sailors on its grubby hands!!!! A disgusting breach of basic courage and moral fibre....Argntina should face a war crimes tribunal.....

Armievh you are dreaming! It is documented fact that the Argentine escorts fled back to sea because their Captain said they were afraid of HMS Conqueror's torpedos!
If the Argentine Navy did not run away, how do you explain the fact Argentinian Navy ships NEVER sailed again after Belgrano, until the war was over!
Even the Argentine aircraft carrier stayed hiding in the dock, because the British warned they would sink any Argentine ships at sea!
