@PPCLIcanuck Thanks for the info! :)

@johnson1095, It costs money to reenact. You have to supply your own uniform, equipment, rifle, and tent. That can set you back $2k easily.

@RoyalFusiliers You might have more luck Doing WWII, I know most of the units are very flexible with the age thing. I have been doing events since i was 14. But its a year later and i bet you could get into a unit and they wouldnt mind.

Very nice! My grandpa fought in trenches... sure not WWI, but Korea. He told me that they were pretty similar, though, with lots of trenches and everything like that. Is that so?

@Litterboxer529
Sure! Korea had a lot of static defenses where the troops dug in where they could. They may have not been as elaborate as WW1 trenches but a trench is a trench...

I used to be a Lewis Gunner when it was still at Shimpstown. We always gave the Hun a good "pranging"! I can't believe I wore an original WW 1 SD uniform (made in 1915) and original P08 gear. Watching the stuff from Newville makes me want to get back into it! Time to bring back out the Lewis!

You're more than welcome to come down just don't wear the original uniform or webbing. That stuff is getting very rare and should be in museums!
