Spirit Science 1 - Thoughts (Revised)

--I revised a little bit at the end for all you lovely and amazing people out there-- You can have, do, or be, ANYTHING you want. This week, Patchman dives into the unknown by discussing a very simple topic. Thoughts, Emotions, and the power that they bestow upon you. Or rather, how you can empower yourself to live in the moment by controlling your thoughts and emotions, and guiding yourself the way that you want to be guided, rather than allowing modern society to tell you how to feel and what to think. Just as you create your own reality, we are also co-creating our realities together. We are a collective! As a community, a city, a country, and a species, we decide where we want to go and how we want to flow. It is up to us to decide what happens next in the epic tale that is the human race, but change has to start from an individual level.

Our calender is actually messed up, a while back we missed a chunk of years, so "2012," as it would be understood at the time of the Mayan calender, already happened a long time ago. Maybe we did come to a huge change? Look at actual statistics on violence...Homicide and war-related deaths are on the decline. Maybe we all sort of subconsciously lost an urge to kill each other? Media will say the world keeps getting worse, but do some research for yourself, hold onto some optimism too.

@gig777 Socialism, capitalism, communism, etc. are all equally valid ideas, none of them are bullshit, and none of them are perfect. A mass economy just doesn't work, only tribe-sized economies can last more than a few hundred years (assuming they don't grow...but they would).

I thought it was interesting up until the point where he stated that the poor people in Africa are poor because the Western world is not "sharing" the resources. That is pure socialist b.s.

same with emotions, emotions don't exist, their a reflection of the brain, in the first years a baby lives, his brain is 'processing' and looking wath is good and bad, if you recongize something 'good' from your first live years, you'll like that person, even if we don't have memories from then, the brain still remebers that, everything is made in the first life years of the baby, every brain/human is made the same, but they change before they are born, and when they are born
