Paragliding Donkey

Tourist operators in Russia are being investigated by police after they strapped a live donkey to a parachute and then hoisted it out over the sea at a popular seaside resort.

The paragliding operators at a resort at the Sea of Azov decided to use the donkey as part of a publicity stunt, the animal spent a full 30 minutes in the air suspended under the parachute being towed along by a speedboat. The stunt wasn't much of a success though, the animal was clearly distressed and children playing on the beach began crying as the donkey began braying in terror.

Police in the area are now investigating a possibly animal cruelty case, but they were amazed that no one witnessing the event bothered to call the authorities.

"The donkey was screaming, and children were crying yet nobody had the brains to call the police," a local police spokeswoman said.

@AnimalHolocaust I completely agree, but a 2 year jail sentence is a lot compare to America. In America, they would have got a night in jail and $30 in fines. Hell people get less than 2 years for murder/manslaughter, in America.

Anapka, the donkey who shot to fame for parasailing over a Russian beach last summer, has DIED of a suspected heart attack.

Vets have suggested that Anapka's death was provoked by stress brought on by the parasailing company's advertising stunt. FUCKING IDIOTS!!!

Im absolutely disgusted that human beings first of all did this, and that of all the people watching, none intervened to stop this happening. When i was told of this video i was shocked, and distressed by what i saw. How anyone thinks this is funny is beyond belief !
