tks for the reply........I realize that this cam of mine does have some power, and although it doesnt have all the bells on it, through creative editing I can probably do wonders with just it. I will keep it and continue to learn from the expereince;

Almost too hard to beliee, but I believe you.......so editing in post production is the real deal......I paid some 1600 plus for my cam, and will def look at some better editing tools such as you use.
tks.

So my question now to you is if I already paid 1600 for that Panasonic Pro camcorder with a 3 ccd sensor. They say this is a must for movie making.....If I buy the cs4 package and learn it, I could do movies in cinema mode without having that function on my cam? I was told, last year, that this cam would need to have software filters in order to achieve what I am looking for. So what do you think? Do I need to buy another camera, such as HD, or just the software?
tks so much for any info..

@torchidman You don't need to buy another camera, if this is your first film, film with what you have and learn from it... in fact, don't spend $ money CS4 either, CS5 is already out ... but there's a cheaper version Premiere Element or something... try that first and get your feet wet... start out with the basic and learn everything you could... then keep making more videos or films... my first film was a DV camcorder XL-1

Very nice.....Almost thought I was watching a scene from "Cold Case"..Had that kind of feel to it..
Okay now, what were all the tools you used to get to this? Cameras, editing software, etc?
Tks, if you could, as I am seeking to get to this level from home;
