Think about how much has happened and those foxholes still sit as though Easy just left.
The Cold War.
America went to the moon
Vietnam
Korea
Both the Iraq Wars
Afghanistan
SOOO MUCH has happened... yet those foxholes are still there. As awesome to me as it is to realize that the astronaut's bootprints are still on the moon.

wow i got goosebumps just watching this... 50 years ago this place was hell.. now its all peaceful and quiet. never forget what those easy company did

I am going to Belgium on the 24th of March 2009. I will be visiting this area on the 25th. I am really looking forward to it. Great little vid, I hope to post some when I get back.

If you ever get there, ask one of the locals to put you in contact with Henri Magnon and have him give you a tour of the city, the museum and the foxholes. Well worth the price to talk to him in this most special of places. I took my class there in 2007 and will be returning next year.
