  • I have a blown C4 and it starts no probs and runs perfect. A blown motor should start on the button as the forced induction greatly improves intial mixture input.I suggest your friend gets the motor set properly or he will soon be needing another 355cui motor.

  • No he doesn´t have to worry about getting a new motor.. Like I said, it wasn´t tune back then.

  • Does anyone have a link on the car so I can check it out?

  • definite tuning problem.

  • He has autronic..

  • So they did not tune the EFI to work with the forced induction? I hear pixiedust nowadays does the trick.

  • True, but this Vette is not tuned in the vid.

  • Well I think the engine is just meant to run at higher rpm, it doesn't sound like a regular street car. Therefore it may be hard to keep the engine at a low idle especially while starting it. They may have a long overlap. It doesn't matter what big/small block you use, it's how you tune it. You can build a 454 for street, or you can build it for the strip. And building it for the strip compromises its use on the road.

  • Not really, it was just a car show.
