@shadowparkour I agree - I like basses to sound....bassy :p
Thing is, I've heard him playing in Tarot and there's a lot more bottom end in his sound with them. So I can only guess that in NW those low frequencies are being taken up by something else (probably the guitar and keyboards), so he has a much more treble-y sound to stop the mix from sounding 'muddy'. It's the old thing with mixing songs - something will sound TERRIBLE by itself, but mixed with everything else it sounds great

Marco is a god playing the bass. But i dont really like the sound of the bass... ivealways noticed it sounds very crunched as if you plugged it into a very small amp. But oh well, still, hes an amazing player
