I love this traditional drum of Bengal, and respect people like dhaki Gokul chandra Das (Habra,Asutosh colony, near railway station,North 24 parganas,West Bengal), who is doing his best to preserve this art of playing the Dhak. There are many dhakis today who struggle to make ends meet and therefore choose other alternatives to earn a living.
