I watched the entire video. Looks like an awesome deck. If I get into that format I think I'll run Zedruu.

How many land all together?

Cool vid. Realy fun General.
I play Zedruu too but i dont like playing with barely none win con, i use half of your counters and more win con (like Inssurrection, Rite of Replication, Jace and some good fatties).
I realy like using Venser, the Sojourner to blink back your exchangers.
Rainbow Vale its a great land for the deck.
Subscribing now, and waiting for more vids.

@MistveilPlains what made you turn away from a more blink oriented deck? I have a feeling it was probably just the lack of available slots.

Great video. Thanks for making one for Zedruu. The problem with this general is you want to add so much fluff that it is hard to make cuts.
One problem is I always feel like I'm behind. I always have less board presence and my tempo is terrible. I also have the same problem with lack of win cons in White/Red/Blue. I think I might just cheese it with some variation of Kiki/Pestermite. However, I love your coin flip combo because it wins without going into the red zone
I don't think that's how Taniwha works.
I think, that the turn Taniwha phases (out) is the same turn their lands phase (out). So they either have both, or none.

@MartialNico Well I asked about this on mtgsalvation and the response I got said you alternate between having lands and Taniwha. Could still be wrong, though. Here is the answer I got.
"Yes, basically. At the beginning of your untap step, Taniwha phases in or out as appropriate, and any lands that might be phased out phase in. Then, at the beginning of your upkeep, if Taniwha is phased in, your lands phase out.
The upshot is that you alternate between having your lands and having Taniwha."

I called Wizards about the Efreet/Encounter combo, and the new wording on the Efreet states that if the Efreet is no longer in play you cannot continuously flip because it phases out upon the first win. It sucks though, I loved that combo and the way you described using it is priceless!!

@dollopart Hmm... the person you talked to may have referred to an outdated Oracle ruling.
I've been asked about this combo many times. And as far as I can tell, Frenetic Efreet has been errataed twice. In August 2002, he was errataed the way you described: he had to be in play for the coin flips to happen. In April 2009, he was errataed BACK to his original wording, restoring the combo's viability. As far as I know, there has been no errata on Frenetic Efreet since then, and the combo works.

great videos! I was looking forward for the Zedruu deck. Maybe Riku or The Mimeoplasm next?
Also, Sun Titan is a great way to recover enchantments in this deck, and Aven Mindcensor fits in the Policeman theme. Props for the Coin combo, I'll try it! ;)

@mrajaraven Aven Mindcensor actually just came out for Snapcaster. I figured he was redundant with Stranglehold. But maybe it's a strong enough effect that I should dedicate two spots to it.
