  • Band? BAND? You have to be kidding? These men and women may be the nearest thing to an old fashioned drum and bugle corps left on Earth. Two valves and in "G". You better know what you are getting yourself into. These are Marines...Not some "band" from some high school or college! Wake up and smell the coffee - or have some very smart DI do it for you!!!! ((<:)!

  • WOW!!..Thumbs up if you got the 'chills'!! Great work..i wish to be there in person of course!!...super!!

  • @Baldgol4 ....and the Marine Musicians wives.....tough as he was to the D&B, he was really a nice guy.

  • Please don't compare today's DCI "Corps" to The USMC Drum & BUGLE Corps! Today's DCI Corps are very good bands! They are no longer Drum & BUGLE Corps. They don't march BUGLES anymore. Look at the USMC, that's what DCI was like until the mid 80's. What a shame...bring the BUGLES back DCI ...BOA is for bands!

  • You have to be a total hardass to join the drum & bugle corps, that's for damn sure...

  • Wow. Great drum score. Bass line sounds great.

  • If they wanted to, I bet the Marines could win DCI every year.

  • I remember way back and doing the Toledo Key to the Sea. The Marine Drum and Bugle Corps were there for an exhibition. They didn't seem very old back then, but I didn't realize that all these were vets. Some had been to Desert Storm and back. I was more than impressed with the fact that on our way to practice, we passed the entire corps doing their morning run, 5 miles, in formation, before rehearsal. They we all very friendly to us "junior DCIers back then. Brothers in music. Semper Fi.

  • I marched in high school my four years there. My brother, as well as most of my cousins all marched in the drumline. We were in both ADLA and DCI. All I can say is that these Marines are super good! Vanguard, Blue Devils, Troopers, they're not even at this level!

  • Anyone who had the honor of knowing him will never forget the man. May he rest in peace and his memory live on forever in the hearts of his Marine musicians.

  • that was pretty boss

  • those are some pretty epic tubas
