poisoning the soil and the people's crops.
How about learning something from the case then? How about learning that the "massive campagin against poor Chevron" is NOT launched by the government but rather by the over 20 thousand villagers that have to live in that hell hole, who have directly filed the lawsuit. How about learning that the "FARC" is a insurgent terrorist group and NOT a militant group, that live in Colombia and that have nothing to do with the case or the plaintiffs and that

straight into streams, an operating practice that was banned by US environmental law just a few years after Texaco even started their operations in my country. If that's not enough for you, then you can through the "remediated areas" of which the company proudly brags about, and just look around you: if you are not purposely blind, you will notice oil coming out from the soil and realize that their major claen up was just covering oil pits with dirt, leaving all the petroleum underneath,

Mr Zennie Abraham, I agree with you...let us dig and find out about the REAL STORIES, but not exactly the ones you're telling, where you don't quote or give any sources at all and instead misinform and make up a whole story full of lies and distorsions that only reveal the ignorance under which you conduct your thoughts. I am Ecuadorian and have had the opportunity of sharing the misfortune of those who live in the "oriente", the areas where Texaco (now Chevron) operated and in fact invite

As a Nigerian from the parts of the country where these militias live,I would say that you are very wrong and that in fact the lands and waters around those areas are barren from pollution, the roads are non existent and life is miserable

And if you can't trust the Nigerian military police, who can you believe? Chevron, of course.
The problem that Chevron in Nigeria is 'receiving stolen property'.
It is not to the government of Nigeria to give away the people's property. Unless they sell it at market price, they are robbing the people of Nigeria, to the benefit of Chevron and Shell only. And a few bribe takers, of course, but that does not somehow relief them of blame.
Pure B/S!!!

you to do the same. Come and see for yourself the truth. I can show you around, what villagers have called the "toxic tour", where you will walk around the oil fields operated by Texaco and enjoy a pleasant landscape of poisoned water and people with cancer...You can also walk around the Texaco oparated ONLY fields (that is, with no intervention at all of Petroecuador) and find pipes still spilling oil for over 15 years,
