As a PC gamer who plays everything at 2560 resolution and downsampled, this is the first console game in the last 5 years to impress me graphically.

The fact that peopel are saying it looks bad SCREAMS that there is some sort of weird Nintendo/Sony/Xbox bias going on.

As an outsider to the consoles looking in, this is objectively MUCH better. Lighting, textures, shadow resolution, all far improved.

If people think this isn't a step above the current consoles, may god help you next gen.

Definitions aside, the use of the Nintendo iPad for sniping while the main screen sits redundant isn't exactly groundbreaking.

I don't see why everyone knocks the WiiU it may not have the graphics that PS3 or 360 has. But Nintendo wasn't aiming for the best graphics. The gaming pad is a new step for gaming Consoles. They have always been about getting a gamer more into the game by adding more things the gamer has to pay attention to. As well as using the TV to see what your doing. It integrated the idea of having a touch screen pad that also can be used in a strategic way. All Consoles bring something new.

This is way better than Left for Dead. This is a REALISTIC survival horror game. It's not all about "teh Splosions" and achievements.... and your comment is like in code or you can't write legibly. BTW Mario 9 sold more and is better than Left for Dead any day.

I haven't seen a single gimmick. It's funny how gamers dont know the simple definition of gimmick.

A gimmick is an element added without direct relation to the main element.

Gimmick: PS3 Blu Ray Player (has NOTHING to do with gaming)

Non-Gimmick: Wii Remote (Videogame interface)

Gimmick: Xbox360 ESPN Streaming (has NOTHING to do with gaming)

Non Gimmick: 3DS 3D (adds to GAMING experience and graphics.)
