Before I became disabled I used blanks in my ramset tool. Blanks would drive a 3.5 inch nail all the way into concrete.

Jon-Erik Hexum shot himself in the right temple on the set of "Cover Up" in 1984 with a .44 Magnum blank. They were barely able to keep him alive and he was legally declared brain dead six days later. Only good thing to come out of that was a number of people received his organs.

I heard of someone playing a "joke" putting a gun to their head with blanks in it and killed themselves from the force that came out of the gun.
