I just got a shock wave therapy treatment; feels a lot better, I can't feel the bone spur anymore with my thumb. I'm doing two more in total.
Shock wave therapy will be the wave of the future. Mark my words. If your doctor doesn't know about it; he/she is not a scholar in my view.

@Shetyre In cases of calcaneal spur syndrome and/ or plantar fasciitis one suffering from pain at plantar surface of calcaneus and pain radiating a long a arc and pain continue to referre to the toes. In any case final diagnosis will be done by Dr. including x-rays. But in many cases, just instead of cortisone injection this condition can be successfully treated utilizing medical massage protocol that I am proposing.
Best wishes.
