Sweetgrass and sweet music to my ears. Thankyou for sharing Walkingbuffalo....

I love the 'distinctness' of the people. LIVE LONG. LIVE STRONG. LIVE PROUD. LIVE TO LOVE. LOVE TO LIVE. MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

The Europeans thought is was a prelude to War and banned it as they did with Dancing which they also did not understand. Ojibway life was a Spiritual way of life still not understood by many. It is part of my history and I am resuming the traditional teachings of my Childhood.

Aanii… Aniish Na walkingbuffalo66? (I am just beginning to learn Ojibway.)
I am learning Drumming at my Native Centre, its not just a bunch of cool Native Dudes wailing on a Drum. It is a form of Prayer, oral tradition & ceremony, social harmony. There is a lot going on during drumming, everything is measured and requires great concentration the entire time.

LOL THERE'S MY UNCLE WILLIAM!! :D

I love this. Hey, do you know who this is? Could I get a CD? I have a radio show and I am looking for Native Brothers and Sisters who are musicians, a drum circle, hand drummer, contemporary or traditional so I can air their music.

Native cultures are really fascinating. Even though the settlers from Europe tried their best to genocide these beautiful cultures, they are still alive to this day.
