King Crimson's Moonchild.

My voice broke for a second in the 2nd chorus. Oh well. Things happen.

Public Service Message: Every single bit of tab I saw on the internet for this song is absolute rubbish. Do not bother. They have it horribly wrong. I've never seen such over-complication of such a simple tune before.

Greg Lake may not be the second coming of Christ, but he's probably his stunt double.

  • what is the tuning for this? i tuned a step down and it wasn't it.

  • I generally always play with my guitar tuned a half step down. I have to capo the first fret to match what I did here, so standard tuning would be correct.

  • cool but you used autotune in yr voice =P

it's evident on "dropping circle stones on a sun dial"

  • Actually, I used a phaser. When my voice broke at that point, it probably was at the peak of the modulation, or else the sudden pitch change couldn't be processed by the phaser fast enough so it glitched. I don't honestly know. And I've never heard pitch correction referred to as autotune, but I assume that that is what you are referring to. Anyway, I don't have any need or desire for pitch correction. The fact that I let the vocal error remain ought to be evidence enough of that.

  • You make that look very easy and sound really good!

  • Thanks! It's actually a pretty simple song.
