This video is created from the screen capture of Arrows 1.0, a real-time virtual dynamic sculpture by Dominic Pukallus. It is an illustration of the emergent complex behaviour of a "flock" or "swarm" of thousands of coloured arrows flying through 3D space, each obeying very simple rules. The values given which govern the lines' behaviour are derived from a formula which is used in the computation of the Mandelbrot set. Watch for the "Rainbow Serpent" effect.

No that's is some weird stuff. Hard to visualize for it's speed. yet it still provides a much better perspective about the world around us.

@whiterican74 Thank you. The video capture is much less smooth than the actual output because my computer had a problem running both the Arrows software and the screencap software at the same time...
