Ballistic Missile Defence campaign in Canada

In February 2005, Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin announced that Canada would not join the U.S. Ballistic Missile Defence Program. This brief video, using clips taken from newscasts over roughly a 2 year period, shows how the citizen campaign succesfully forces him to say No to George W. Bush. This video is a decent display of this early timeline however the lastest six years is undocumented. Does anyone have new material on this subject because I believe it happened in secrecy prior to this videos timeline??? Not giving into this officialy had its conciquences... They are here. If we need a missile defence, We can create it our selves. No country would bomb us, Because Canada is not a nationality, There is more Russians, Chinese Mexicans, No country would bomb its own people, There are more people from the middle east In Canada, then there is Canadians. We are a minority in Toronto, They bomb us, and they piss off every nation.

Why is missile defense a bad idea? I would rather have missile defense than the United States being forced to use its nuclear arsenal. Japan and NATO partners also want the system.

U.S. want to build more permanent military bases all over the world. U.S. want to put a missile defence system in europe to protect them from Iran. U.S. policies encouraged anger and hatred in other countries simply because U.S. don't mind their own fucking business. We understand this in Canada. U.S. intention of world domination will lead us to a nuclear war.

Of course, more weapons will bring peace and stability on this planet. C'mon... The FACTS are that there is a high probability that these countries react to U.S. if U.S. try to militarise space. Don't you understand the blowback effects ?
