50th Birthday (Part One) Surprise Party

Part One ...you're invited to share and pass-on to as many people as possible, Kate's naughty photograph ...together with these 'movie memories' captured at her 50th Birthday Surprise Party, which was arranged and organised by Fran and her boyfriend Chris - together with their creative team Nicki Priestman and Jill Buckland who decorated the barn.

I should say that the pre-party opening shots have been speeded up, Nicki and Jill don't normally work that fast !!

For those of you who were unable to attend this 'surprise party' and don't know the venue - The Fleece at Bretforton is the only 'inn or pub' owned by the National Trust. Originally a half-timbered medieval farmhouse, its been serving real ales to both the locals and thirsty travellers since 1848 - if you're ever in the vicinity pay it a visit, you won't be disappointed.

A special mention goes to Bill and Ro (Rosemary) Brooks who were first to arrive and they were also the first to the bar too !

Within minutes more guests arrived, the drinks began to flow and sound levels built up - keep your eyes peeled for the guy who's sticking his tongue out, he thought I was a local Doctor, and don't miss 'the party flasher' wow, he's got a big one - and what about the poor girl who was only given a few pence for her drinks - now we know times are getting harder.

And watch the guy in a red checked shirt - he sunk four pints in a few seconds - and his mother thinks he only drinks Coke.

But less about people watching and to the star-of-the-show, Kate was told she was being treated to a 'special meal' and that they were just stopping en route for a celebratory drink. Hence a few discreet tears when she joined the waiting group who had all been practicing, toasting her arrival - drunken lot. Now the kisses and cuddles really start ...before the fun !!
