On November 9, 2009, the New York City department of homeless services created a daily Census report and estimated that 38,000 people are living in shelters, 17,000 of those are children. In every New York City neighborhood, there are homeless individuals. There are homeless people living on subway platforms, street corners, parks and even abandoned buildings. Many of them choose to seek assistance from the government and others opted to simply go through life without any assistance. WE CHOOSE TO IGNORE THIS PROBLEM

  • so whats the overview of your video?

  • NYC used to be the place to go, the land of opportunity. Now it's a symbol for what the US has become--an undemocratic country, sharply divided along economic lines. Don't even think about living in NYC unless you're rich or have rich relatives.

  • at least some1 is actually doin sumthing about it....

  • homeless people need love to no matter their race and their agenda..in this community they rejected homeless people..put our hands together help.if its was you in the streets how you would react..if you see yoru sister or yoru family...don't past judgement on them..tomorrow its might be you there in their place

  • San Diego has more.
