When working with a large amount of wood, the wood can be dried by stacking it, and an individual can set up her own set of stacks to dry wood upon. Find out how to use wood that is pre-kiln dried with help from a woodworker and antique restorer in this free video on woodworking.

  • "the kiln masters" well how about the kiln wizards huh?

  • wtf, misleading title and 2 minutes of my time wasted, thank you.

  • How to dry wood for wood working... buy it already dried. Thanks, Einstein!

  • the title is misleading, or incorrect. Either way, this video's content was not "How to Dry Wood for Woodworking".

  • Title: "How to dry wood for woodworking."

Description: "Find out how to use wood that is pre-kiln dried with help from a woodworker..."

    Brilliant.

  • 500 board feet of 1"x6" x10'. Dressed lumber (pine) equals a pile 4' wide x 14" high x10 feet long an should weigh around 1600 lbs.

  • What I do is before I use any wood for a project I almost always put them in stck forms, even if I lets say have some raised panel doors already made i will let them sit in sticks for a week or so before I finish them. Great vids.
