What to do
•Create a You Tube video, no more than 5 minutes in length, speaking about your Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training experience. •Be sure to include Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training somewhere in the video title. •Upload your video to You Tube •E-mail the You Tube link to Shaun Laframboise in the KYTA office at ShaunL@kripalu.org by December 31, 2009. •In your e-mail to Shaun be sure to include your full name as well as your telephone number. •Please have the subject line of the e-mail read You Tube contest entry—Your name
How to Win
Videos will be evaluated based on inspiring, authentic, and creative answers to as many of the questions listed below that you wish to address. A committee will select the wining video and the winner will be announced by mid-February 2010.
Questions to address
•Why did you choose Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training? •What are some of the things that were most memorable to you about your training? •How has your Kripalu training influenced your perspective on what it means to teach yoga? •Why would you recommend this training to someone else? What do you think a perspective student might want to know about the training? •How did the quality of the training, the facility, your YTT Directors, your classmates, etc., support your educational experience? •How do the benefits of your training continue to inform your personal and/or professional life? •What is something inspiring that you are doing with your yoga teacher certification? •How has the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association (KYTA) supported you in your professional development?
Enjoy, be real, have fun, be creative. There is no need to be polished in your approach. We are looking for real testimonials from people of all ages and backgrounds.
