We rescued a Baby Hawk!

This is our cute Baby Hawk named Emily. We assume she fell out of her nest as she was found walking down the street. She is being kept in a kennel in a little storage room in the backyard. We are trying to contact wild life rescue people to come and get her. If we take her to vet they will kill her, so if you know of any wildlife organizations in the Los Angeles or Orange County Areas please let me know!!!

So what happened to the hawk. I just found one tonight

Oh we knew she wasn't injured. She seems fine. And yes we called the vets and they said they would youthanize her and then I asked what that is and they said well put her to sleep. And yes I am saddened that owning a hawk is illegal. Fortunately we have found a wildlife sanctuary that she will go to soon and they can put her back in the wild or whatever they are going to do.
