Methamphetamine has reached epidemic status on the Navajo Nation within the past two years. Up close and personal interviews with Navajo methamphetamine addicts and recovering addicts allow the viewer to see and hear the painful stories these people have to tell about their addiction to the drug. Additional interviews with Tuba City Senior Criminal Investigator Greg Adair, Indian Health Service Doctor Thomas J. Drewhard, and Navajo Nation Vice President Frank Dayish, Jr., bring a more in-depth view of how methamphetamine is affecting the communities, families, and people of the Navajo Nation.

  • or that childs at hi school dont feel like spending that much on somthing that thay know is bad for them

  • i think thay should just ban som on the vital things needed to cook up that crazydrug so it wont be so easy as it is now to make this crazy drug ik now its like imposible to ban things from stores that are around for like ages but thay should consider the childs that are confronted whit this crazy drug so that cant and wont heapen anny more cus the drug will become rere i think that the problem is that its way to cheap so anny one can buy it so that childs on a hi school thay cant affort it.

  • may god bless and watch over the people struggling with drugs/alcohol on the rez. God bless the the people hooked on G. May god bless the people hooked on drugs. To all dine and other tribes going through this hell, stay strong. God wants you and loves you. i'll be praying for every family going through the devils fun times. God bless the familys who lost loved ones and who are losing loved ones. I love you all my dine people. God bless you, God bless you.

  • good video, informative. People, no matter race or nation, will always seek to "get high." The drug of choice may change from day to day, but the truth remains the same. It has to do with a lack of spirituality, no fault of the drug user/abuser, but the fault of a society hell-bent on destrction.
