Can you hear me
Are you near me
Can you see me
See me at all
Do you know me
Can you show me
If you hear me
Don't let me fall
Is it raining in the sunshine
And the wind blows in my eyes
Lying face down to the hard ground
I can face the cloudy skies
And although I maybe dying I will bide my love
I'll be waiting , I'll be waiting
I'll be waiting , in the storm

You were my girl in the springtime
With the sunshine in my day
Your sweet lips, your fingertips
And you touch me but you won't stay
Is it raining in the sunshine
And the wind blows in my eyes
Lying face down to the hard ground
I can face the cloudy skies
And although I may be dying I will bide my love
I'll be waiting , I'll be waiting
I'll be waiting , in the storm
Can you hear me
Are you near me
In the storm

One day, if you live long enough, you'll be old too. Then you can look back on todays (so called) music and remember what you'd rather forget.

  • it's great to see anything with Albert Hammond on, even if he is always to the side and seemingly out of the limelight with Steve Rowland the singer/producer up front

Hammond provided the great harmonies, wrote a lot of the group's b sides and also Little arrows, Gimme dat ding, Make me an island + many more with Mike Hazlewood, the guy sitting down with the girls

Rowland also produced all of Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick and Tich's singles

  • @sludgegulper Well said!!!!!

  • whacked characters

  • Great version!!!

The original song by the Bee Gees is on the double album 'Inception/Nostalgia' and on the French Impact-album 'Bee Gees'. (Steve Rowland) and The Family Dogg recorded many songs written by others. One of their strongest songs is 'I'll wear a silly grin'.

  • Great, great, great...
