  • NOT S.A.S!!!!

  • Self Aware Street

  • Before you post things like this you should REALLY go and try this techniques on someone out of your own weight and size devision. I thought these kinds of techniques were really useful at one point. Thing is most of these moves are useless when your opponent is much larger then you are,and is resisting.

  • The moves have been used on the street, and proved extremely effective :D

Obviously the same move won't apply to different people, your example the person being larger, bring him down to your height by taking out the knees/smacking him in the nutsack, he'll automatically hunch forward, making life a lot easier.

Also we can test whether the moves are effective with resistance, without hurting students/masters, with the use of our RedMan suit (we'll post a video soon).

  • this is not SAS combat it`s bullshido

  • lol that's pretty good. Self Aware Street.

  • @sanityburns lol after uploading this kind of clip on youtube u wll find so many dump ass fools :D

  • Nice tactic, but a bit slow.

  • I dont know but I guess I have a good feeling for counter actions.. my friend always tries to grab me and stuff like that (no homo xD) and hes waay stronger.. but I always seem to get out.. you just have to use their body against they own.

  • not rly just depend how outnumbered u r

  • exactly just nee em in the balls then keep smashing there face in...or just carry a gun averywhere

  • There is no such thing as an Aikido fighter. Aikido is purely defensive in nature. There are no attacks like you see in hard arts. Its about using your attacker energy against them. I agree that sport karate is gay but traditional karate is extremely combative and not a sport. As for Aikido its not a sport either. I can see where this argument is going and I dont care to debate about "style effectiveness" because all styles are weak and strong and all have useful techniques.

  • like for this shit to work the guy has to move a certain way and you have to be an absolute expert to know what to do, even then you cant predict anything.... his buddy can be waiting to hit you with something from behind... the most effective martial art would have to be muay thai for used on the street..... the ufc exposed the sport karate and aikido fighters when it first came to be and began to show what style were really effective....all this crap is just flashy....

  • dont even try to explain to me that this stuff works in a bar fight... some guy attacks you then pulls a gun out and shoots you, your dead... this 3 to 4 move sport martial art shit does NOT work in a street fight im an MMA fighter and ive seen a lot of competition, ive competed in grappling tournamnets and won... and i realize even BJJ wouldnt be too effective in the streets if you have somebody down, but somebody else tries to kick your face in

  • You obiviously have a very limited perception of what Aikido is. I hate to bust your bubble but there are several punch/kick defenses in Aikido and yes even strikes called Atemi of there own in Aikido. UFC is the evolution of combat sport and nothing more. Its 2 highly skilled athletes that have spent months preparing for a competition where there are rules and regulations. Its still far from a random attack on the street and its certainly not a bar/street fight.

  • aikido can only defend a guy running at them... and thats stupid to do to somebody anyways... if you simply punch an aikido practicioner in the face, hes got nothing after that..... all i need to say to close this arguement, if its so good, why dont we see it in the ufc? why you ask? cause mixed martial arts has exposed those fraud martial arts that claim to be effective
