Lee Amlin of 3 Kool Kats (www.myspace.com/3koolkats) fires up his new Hammond B3 chop and Leslie 122. (Ok, ok - technically it started out life as an A-100). Sorry for the crapola sound it was taken with a digital cameral.

  • @Shwaggetyshfifty

    You have a L100, M2, and a B3?!

  • @omrixeren - Sold the M3 and the L101 to make room for my mint condition blondie 1957 C3 with matching blonde (and rare) 21E Leslie!

  • Hi lee, cool stuff.

I was wondering, where did you get your b3 chop from!?

    joe

  • @jonahhammond - Lee bought his chop from a fella in Conneticuit (sp?) same guy who did the chop for Don Airey of Deep Purple. I can get the name if you really want it.

  • How much does that B3 Chop weigh? Just out of curiosity.

  • hello ! it's a B3 (from an A 100) built by BERTRAM ? very nice ! the price ??

  • "First chord? C Minor? You ready?" Such a sense of occasion. I love it.

  • @jazzyisj So now you have a C3 1957 and a chopped B3? Wow! Your really lucky! Have fun with your Organs.. :)

  • Sheeeeit.... I'd give ANYTHING to have a chop like that! Very sweet organ!

  • ooh you could get some nice sound if you connected the speaker leads from the m3 dirrectly to the crossover of the 710... but yeah, i guess the extra weight of the diving board keys is better for really technical stuff like boston, but it's terriblefor anything with glissando's.

i DO play a lot of deep purple, and uriah heep, and just a lot of overdriven stuff, but i still need the option of clean
