"Volcano Lovers" Artist Talk part 4: by Noriko Ambe

Noriko Ambe, the Japanese artist, talks about her works "Lands of Emptiness 2009" (2009), "A Piece of Flat Globe Vol. 10" (2009) and "Flat File Globe Red Tank B (2009 version)" (2009) exhibited in "Volcano Lovers - From Iceland and Japan."

"Volcano Lovers - From Iceland and Japan" is on view at Ise Cultural Foundation, NY gallery from November 13, 2009 to January 2, 2010. The opening reception on November 13, 2009, 6 - 8 pm. The Artist Talk on November 14, 2009, 2 - 4 pm.

The exhibition, curated by Birta Guðjónsdóttir and Shinya Watanabe, features four Icelandic artists and four Japanese artists:
Hildur Bjarnadóttir, Hreinn Friðfinnsson, Guðný Rósa Ingimarsdóttir, Haraldur Jónsson;
Noriko Ambe, Atsushi Saga, Katsuhiro Saiki, Yuken Teruya.
