... then, you may have noticed another thing about the "moderate" and extreme left. the "moderate" left hasn't appeared at one of these things since 2006 when the democrats won congress. similarly, the left-of-the-left hasn't attempted any high profile mobilizations against u.s. foreign policy since the democrats won the presidency even as president obama has put american troops into libya. the "moderate" left loves to use the passion of extremists and the extreme left loves access to power.

@ish1970 funny thing about that is that is that you're only half-right. the "moderate" left adopted the cause of ending the genocide in sudan; years after conservatives began creating awareness of the problem and only as a tool of rhetorical leverage against the iraq war ('missed opportunities' and such. you may have noticed that the issue has disappeared now that they are in power). the left to their left are at least consistent, branding the issue early on as "another zionist war for oil".

the moral of the story is: don't ask socialist drones why they believe what they believe. it upsets socialist drones when you make a sound, rational point against their argument that exists on a bumper sticker. "i like that dictator" says some dumb bitch who has lived under the bill of rights her entire life. if she likes that dictator, let her move there. maybe if she and her friends take a hike to Iraq or Afghanistan, they won't vote for Pelosi...we can hope right?
