  • What sort of standard for the portfolio is required for entrance into FZD?

  • @Warriorjemgi

The goal of the entrance portfolio is to show your interest in design. This can be in the form of sketches, drawings, written ideas, notes, etc. FZD School of Design admissions department is looking for your problem solving abilities and “thinking on paper” skills. Do refer to the Before & After sample on Student Gallery on our website to see the entrance portfolio that our students have submitted in the past. For more information, please check out the FAQ section on FZD website.

  • what does my grade ration have to be to enter in FZD? or it doesnt matter?

  • @pgf95

Applicants to the Diploma in Industrial Design program are required to be at least a High School graduate and pass all the subjects. In addition, you must submit the transcript and English proficiency tests such as TOEFL or IELTS. Please note that there will be a portfolio submission and interview session as a part of the acceptance process. Do refer to the FAQ section on FZD School website for more information. :)

  • @G0ldenM0nkey

Our program is available for Local and International students.  Currently our school does not offer any online courses as practical and in-class assignments is required. Please refer to the FAQ page on our website. Thanks!

  • All the videos are really helpful, thanks a lot :)

Request: I was wondering, could you maybe do a video about the professional working environment? The practical side of working in the industry. Like: project based working, freelancing, working at a studio. Inhouse vs offsite, traveling,(stability of) income, combining it with family/social, work times/overtime. How does it all work? Maybe some of your personal experiences, to give an idea of how the life of an entertainment designer looks.

  • @tecnodios You doesnt write much English? What a wast of words.

  • i have no clue what this is about

i only clicked this because of the chick

  • Um dude just fyi, you can just use the pen tool select the character and alt back space to place a color mask onto the character :\

  • Do you do your line drawings on paper then scan them into the computer, or just drawing them in the editing software? And do you use photoshop?

  • @LoLSkyPlus What does not having drawing abilities mean to you, missing arms? If you don't have this kind of problem then drawing ability is the effort you put into learning how to draw.

  • so FZDschool is in Singapore? wow thats close, maybe an hour to two hour flight from my country

  • is there still hope for me ? im a older person so if i want to draw could i still become this good i knew person he start drawing from 6 years old hes now 16/17 or something he can draw as good as you do just curious if its still possible

  • Seems unlikely that I could actually help with this process, but at the start where you put a load of grey around the character and then rub out the excess bits, could you not use the magic wand and click on any area outside of the character, then right click and choose select inverse, then just use the paint bucket tool to fill in the area behind the character?

Seems this would save a lot of time if it works :P

Thumbs up if this works so they can see please :)

  • @kungfuremix It's Zombie Knights, it's episode 21. But you could've gone to the channel and searched.

  • what if you liek both designing ideas like i like the thought of drawing up dungeons and weapons and enviorments and armor, but drawing like a scene and junk sound great too

  • how do you do those glows, is that a tool in photoshop? i have been drawing for years and this year have gotten into digital illustration.
