Connecticut Community Boating Membership (Long Island Sound) is was to support public access for everyone regardless of soci-economic status- Why? Because we are the 99%! Have you ever wanted to sail but lacked the funds, the access or the friends? Do you want to learn to boat in a safe, affordable, fun atmosphere with friends who will not judge you but rather encourage you and support you adventurous spirit? Are you frustrated that in Connecticut you have to pay local fees to access a national treasure? Are you tired of seeing signs over the water that say members only? And are you sick and tired of seeing waves of trash and debris wash up on beaches you cant afford to walk on but your taxes pay for? Connecticut Community Boating is working to change that.
