Dadson Racing - Bathurst in a 1993 Toyota Supra TT

Son couldn't make it this year, so Dad took his toy, a Jap spec 1993 Toyota Supra to compete in the FOSC Bathurst Easter Weekend. Regularity again this year with THREE fields on the timetable.

The car is Very standard, Aero top, auto transmission, big brake upgrade, turbo back exhaust. Not a whole lot of Mods.

Rained all weekend with MANY cars being irreperably damaged and was on street tyres so best time of 2.57 was far from cars ability in the dry with better rubber. Here's a good impression of a lap and a half, still crazy fast down the hill.

Yeah the strap was very irritating, however it was the only clear lap on film and just so happened that the strap kept getting in the way. It's better and worse in other parts of the footage so i just chose to upload this one.

The top of the hill is VERY technical, very scary!!

From Belfast, Ireland...but so want to take a car over the mountain! though a big mkiv fan id still want to do Bathurst in John Smiths Grp-A mkiii supra (if its still around)

Great video, the strap was annoying but it really puts into perspective how technical the top of the mountain is through your video.
