@Irishfianna Irish women have always been involved in the struggle. Under brehan law there was near equality between the sexes, which is remarkable for that period of time.

ye im from ross. yes thats true and new ross GAA club is half named after him aswell 'Gerldine an O Hanrahan' they used to be two seperate clubs!

So you must be from New Ross, County Wexford. (I just looked up a bit of info on the man.)
Wexford railway station is named in commemoration of O'Hanrahan, as is the road bridge over the River Barrow at New Ross.
Correct?
