Yo mate nice car and nice exhaust note. i have a quick Q i see you got Pa license plates so im guessing you reside in the state. I got a 04 GT and i wanted to put the loudmouth 2 or loudmouth resonators just the mufflers on my stock exhaust. Do you have any suggestions on which one would sound more throaty but not nasty like a lorry,and also if it will pass inspection? Thanks in advance mate. nice ride...cheers.

Yarp, I'm in Philly.

Both LM1 and LM2 will pass inspection, it's not until you do midpipe mods that you have to worry about that. LM1 will have a louder more raspy note. LM2s are a bit more quiet. To be honest, I got tired of the sound. I put on a Bassani X and Bassani cat back.

Well, these Cobra's were only made in 2003/2004. You can find one anywhere for around $25,000 depending on the condition, miles, and mods done to it. Yes, these cars are numbered, but I wouldn't go as far to say they are rare in any way. Depending on the color and options you get they can get rare, but black is the most common. Google the car and you'll find a plethora of information on them.

Thanks for the compliments, but it doesn't sound like this anymore; it now has a Bassani X-pipe.

How do you like the Bassani exhaust compared to the SLP ? I just recently bought a 03 cobra vert and the dealer didn't list what exhaust it had. This is the closest sounding exhaust I've found similar to mine. Except mine back fires quick a lot when you let off the gas around 3k rpms.
