How many times has he sang this live?? 2000+ perhaps and still manages to forget the words? There is hope for us all if King Jim can make a mistake. Keep up the great music guys!

Wouldn't it be fitting for Simple Minds to perform this song on the campus of Glenbrook North High School? Could make for a memorable stop on their tour. That school was also known as Shermer High. :-)

Well, given that this song is one of the most famous pop/rock songs ever recorded, I would think audiences would be pretty disappointed if they didn't play it. I imagine Jim Kerr and the band never get sick of it. People often think the band members might get sick of it, but from what I hear they don't. They love the reaction they get from the crowd. Another thing they do to keep it fresh is to change up the arrangement of the song.
