How to play Pokemon on PSP, without modchip or softmod

READ THIS FIRST!!

I don't own the Patapon demo, the hacked savefile, Half Byte Loader or the UO gpSP kai 3.2 emulator. I claim no ownership. And remember it's only legal to play a game on an emulator if you have bought the original game. I have the original Pokemon Emerald for my GBA.

This is a guide to play Pokemon and other GBA games on a PSP without modchip or softmod. This should work on any PSP with firmwire up to 6.20. I can only confirm that this is working on PSP-1004 and PSP-3004 with firmware 6.20.
This "hack" should not harm your PSP or your warranty, but do this at your own risk.

First you have to download the the files you need from here:

Then you must downlad the GBA emulator from here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F2Y8B1T7

After you have downloaded the files you have to extract the zip-folders. You can use Winzip, Winrar, 7-Zip or other programs.

Now move/copy the files onto your PSP-MemoryStick; like I did in the video.

UCUS98734 to PSP/GAME
hbl and h.bin to the root of your MemoryStick
UCUS98732_DATA02 to PSP/SAVEDATA
UO gpSP kai 3.2 to PSP/GAME

If you want to add more games/roms, put them in this folder:
PSP/GAME/UO gpSP kai 3.2/ROM

Now turn on your PSP. Start the Patapon demo from the MemoryStick.
Choose "No" on the first message. Choose "Yes" on the second message.
Now choose "CONTINUE" and load the "hacked" savefile.
When the game starts press "start" then "X" and then "R" This will start the Half Byte Loader.

Now press "X" to start the GBA-emulator.
When the emulator starts choose the game you want to play from the ROM-folder. And remember Circle is the A-button, and Cross is the B-button.

If the game lags, press triangle and then choose: "Return to game"

I am very sorry about the lag in the video. It's because of the recording software I am using. And I am very sorry about the quality on the PSP-part of the video. I only have an EyeToy-camera to record with.
