Starring Will Hutchins as Dagwood Bumstead and Patricia Harty as Blondie. This is a slice of the unaired Easter episode 'Run Buddy Run'. I am looking for other Blondie episodes if anyone has any they'd like to share. This video is in the public domain, I paid for a search with Dept. of Congress Rights and Clearances and the show's copyright has lapsed.

  • Visit my new Blondie '68 blog: lookinforblondie68.blogspot.com/

  • Nice video find. Note worthy because Jim Backus (Mr. Magoo and Thurston Howell) and his real life wife both starred as the Dithers couple. Any chance you'll post the 'Flower Child' episode of Blondie TV series? It's number three in the series. How were you able to get copies of these? Good luck with the book. I would be interested in reading anything about 1960's TV.

  • @benniesud Thanks for your comment. I have an original script for Flower Child but not the episode itself, sorry. The episodes I have came through a combination of five years of detective work, generosity of the cast members and luck. If anyone can help with press clippings or other episodes I'd be in your debt.

  • you have any more episodes of this show even if it just 14 episodes this is stuff to find .

  • Yes, and eager to trade for episodes I don't have. Also looking for cuttings and clippings about the show.

  • All I can say is..Will For God's Sakes..why the hell did you do this?!

  • @rawb181 Hi, I have a number of episodes but would like them all. I'm thinking of putting a book together about the show's rise and fall and would obviously like to have seen them all before I print anything.

  • "Blondie" in the 1950s was a far better show.

  • ok thank

  • I think this episode was unaired at the time of the show's demise and assume it would have been shown Easter '69.
