I guess i dont have an ear for music but the other "structured" solos Ive been seeing on here all sound the same. this guy may not "build" his solos but It sure is different and a step away from all the other solos ive seen so far. Which is why it caught my ear. nice post, voted.

He looks like a turtle when he plays this

@getupaa Man....sorry, I don´t think you KNOW the difference between a sax and the straw you got stuck on your brain....sorry man...

I know so well my friend Boris, that i can say instead of him fuck "you",music is not a competition ti know who plays good, who plays bad.Music is a way to say what words can't say.And as Boris does it,he is a musician. That's more than the billion saxophonists we ear to,playing their learned scales & stolen licks without any soul. It's not saying this solo is perfect,& Boris himself doesn't like it.Criticize has to be done with brain, not orgullous mind just to put oneself above everybody...
-
to those that say he is bad... he isn't... i mean it was constant notes, but he had rhythm and it wasnt that mindless

Bravo Boris Blanchet!

is it just me or does it look a little sped up? he is dancing unusually fast
yeah this guy doesnt build his solos. all it is his him playing a bunch of notes and it isn't interesting to listen to. I could see why he has no record label or anything.

@saxman8666 , great comment, great artistic feeling, probably a great musician. Please "saxman8666", some video from you, with "build solos", with a lot of interseting notes; by advance thank you. Forget that guy, don't loose your time. Give us great music, fine and clever. On "blue note label", why note?

Hey guys, just stop talkin about saxes makin sound... Of course having a good sax will help you to develop a good sound, but everyone has his own personality, and you could play on michael brecker's sax, mouthpiece and ligature and reed, you would not have his sound even tryin to... Just make your own sound, you can surprise yourself !

Hi M.Nabzed.
M."surfer8alien" was just asking to me what was the kind of sax played in that tenor solo. You are right, the instrument does't make the artist. You seem to be a master of artistic psychology ; let's have an ear of your music and your "own sound". I promise i'll don't tell anything about your musical material. Thank's by advance.
