If someone's hand is so seriously screwed up that their thumb is further damaged by moving it 1/2 an inch in either direction, then no mouse will fix that issue. See Logitech Trackball.

@DragonDon09 trackballs are not good if you have finger rsi

Nice idea and might have some good uses in limited scope. The problem is that people are still moving their wrists and arms regardless. My arm and wrist sits nice and comfy with my trackball :) Would also help if people just learned keyboard shortcuts too.

She stoled my concept design!!

What about when using brushes in PS during masking? It looks like it might not work or at least be awkward. Anybody here a PS power user using a mouse like this? (and no, I don't like using a pen and tablet.)

it seems like their mouse design would just cause problems with the back and shoulder considering the user cannot rest their arm on the table and are forced to hold it up.

@gregor00005 Maybe it's just that your motor skills and hand/eye coordination are sub-par.
Who actually uses a mouse as awkwardly as she did?
Seriously; I have my cordless set to the highest sensitivity, I can move it across all three screens and stay accurate to the millimeter without moving anything but my wrist.
