One of my favorite scenes of Lost. This is from the Season 3 Finale when "Depressed Jack" tries to commit suicide.

  • I really wish he had won an emmy for this one, its so heart-breaking to watch him so weak, but above all, the music in this particular scene is breath-taking. The track is called "flying high", I got it before I watched this season and kept wondering when will i hear it, I never expected a better moment than this one.

  • this scene reminds me of the really hard pain, that some of us hide! when you just cant go on anymore - and feel alone.

a time-less scene - to those that feel its power!

  • This episode is so much sadder to watch once you know it is a flash forward.

  • Those drunk late nights, calling the Ex wife at 3 in the morning.

  • I have seen this scene several times now and WOW its more beautiful every time I see it. Jack is so strong in this scene. I don't know how to describe it, but all of us that really like LOST should make a tribute to Jack Shephard for his excellent job in the best TV-show ever seen:)

  • @nashty84 actually locke :(

  • This makes me so sad. Jack's supposed to be the hero and this is him at his lowest. It's so depressing to see. I miss this show!

  • I just wish I could close my eyes and let my blood rain down from the skies. Let my life overflow to a knife.

  • god i miss lost,,,, Best Show EVER

  • One of the best scenes on LOST. Matthew Fox is an amazing actor. I really admire him.

  • @TheDignam While I totally agree that he says "forgive me" to John. I believe he was trying to call Kate to stop him from jumping, he was really losing it. If she had had answered he probably wouldn't have jumped. But he believed his life "was broken" and his only way of redemption was the island. So I guess he was saying sorry to Kate too in a way. But I feel mostly he blamed himself for everything in his life at that point. John, Kate, those he left behind, etc

  • @Wombaggins I think for this scene the "Forgive Me" has got two sences, first he said forgive me to Kate because they were engaged and he had still feelings for her. Moreover he tried to call here just before.. And in fact he said forgive me to Locke, because he felt responsible for his death..
