he should have told him this one:

    Dalai lama orders a 5$ hot-dog pays with a 10$ bill

Dalai Lama waits for his change but the change never comes

    Dalai Lama is like:

"HEY MAN! where is my change?"

    and the waiter says:

    "Change must come from within!"

For all those 'missing the target', the hilarity in this video comes from the fact that karl even attempted that. The humour is a very one-sided humour that pries on the un-expectant

Why I can't live in Australia. They don't even get why they should never have said it in the first place…… They even then had the audacity to promote it on their youtube channel. The country really has become a bogan country.

Puns don't always translate, he probably knew what pizza was; though regardless of whether he did or didn't, pragmatics are far too risky to abuse when telling a joke to someone who doesn't speak your language on the same level as yourself.

Well, I could be wrong but I believe the Dalai Lama is an old old wooden ship used in the civil War.

typical error of english-speaking people who still think their language is universal and everyone is supposed to understand even its colloquialisms. I'd bet this reporter doesn't speak any foreign language in a acceptable level.
